(9:30) MONTEREY – A ceremony to honor local clean air leaders will be held next week. The Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District will honor individuals or organizations from Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz counties working to maintain clean air. At the ceremony awards will be presented for greenhouse gas emission reductions, technology and leadership. The people nominated will also be honored. The reception will be held on June 25, at the Bayonet Blackhorse Golf Course Grill at 6:30. (M.K.)
