(06:28) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission is analyzing the feasibility of a passenger rail transit service along the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line. The line currently runs parallel to Highway 1 and the coastline. The project would aim to expand the passenger rail network and increase transportation options for the community. Planning for the transit line would include connectivity to bus services as well as regional and state rail services. The agency is currently seeking input on the study from now until July 8.
