May 26, 2015: Prunedale Family Displaced by Fire

(12:04) PRUNEDALE – A family was displaced by a fire in Prunedale early this morning. Fire crews were dispatched to the residence on Tustin Road shortly after 5:30 a.m. All seven family members made it out of the house safely. The blaze was contained in under an hour. Officials believe the fire was caused by a heat lamp that was being used to keep three kittens warm. Two of the kittens escaped and one is still missing. The fire caused an estimated $350,000 in damage. (S.G.)
