(16:33) WATSONVILLE – A Monterey county man was attacked at a nonprofit event. The incident took place at about 4:30 p.m. near Silliman Road. Santa Cruz Sheriff’s deputies and Watsonville police responded to a report of a group attacking an individual. Upon the officers arrival the attackers fled the area, and an uncooperative victim was located. The victim was transported to the hospital with a leg injury.
