May 15, 2015: Panetta Survey Of U.S. College Students

(12:00) SEASIDE – College students in the United states currently have a more positive outlook on economic and political issues, according to a recent survey conducted by the Panetta Institute.  Students had overall positive outlooks on most subjects, including the president’s performance in office and the U.S. economy. While feedback was positive overall, students were concerned about the cost of college, and sexual assaults on college campuses.  Leon Panetta, former defense secretary and chairman of the institute, found this year’s survey to be one of the most encouraging polls that he has seen. (M.K.)
