May 15, 2015: Soledad Man Pleads Guilty to Elder Abuse, Attempted Murder

(9:00) SOLEDAD – A Soledad man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder and felony elder abuse. Officials say 18-year-old Robert Bagwell beat and stabbed his grandparents in their home on Second Street in May 2014. Police were dispatched to the residence after receiving a 911 hang-up call. Bagwell stabbed the first officer to arrive at the scene. All three victims have since recovered. Bagwell faces up to 18 years in prison when he is sentenced on June 24th. (S.G.)
