May 14, 2015: Legal Proceedings Of Five Arrested Students May Never Be Publicized

(22:25) CAPITOLA – The legal proceedings of five New Brighton Middle School students may never be publicized. A statement by the Santa Cruz District Attorney’s Office said that the office is legally bound not to discuss the disposition of any of the five arrested for felony conspiracy and making threats at Capitola Middle School. Under state law, only minors charged with 28 specific violent acts are subject to public record. (P.M.D.)
