A man has been arrested in connection with a recent shooting in King City. The incident took place shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday near the intersection of Division Street and South Mildred Avenue. At the scene, officers contacted an uninjured victim, who reported that several shots were fired from one car into another. The suspect vehicle fled Northbound on Highway 101. A follow-up investigation led to the arrest of 23-year-old Luciano Chavez. He was booked into county jail for attempted murder and violation of probation. The investigation is ongoing.
