State lawmakers have introduced a bill that would waive fees for students who were impacted by the closure of Corinthian Colleges. All Heald, Everest and Wytotech campuses were recently shut down without giving its students prior notice. The bill would allow those being affected by the closure to attend a community college for free. The legislation would also ensure all students are eligible for tuition recovery and establish a task force that would keep students informed if and when their school closes.
