A 13 year-old Gilroy girl is recovering from accidentally shooting herself in the leg Monday with her stepfather’s gun. Her stepfather is an officer with the Gilroy Police Department. The incident was the 2nd time in 3 years that a child got hold of a Gilroy Police Officer’s gun and injured themselves.
