A missing 25 year-old woman has been found alive. 25 year-old Defense Language Institute student Sara Thomas was reported missing last Wednesday, after she went walking in the Big Sur wilderness. She was found over the weekend on a beach in Big Sur, and is recovering in an area hospital. She is said to have walked about 40 miles into the Big Sur wilderness before she turned toward the ocean. Thomas is said to have left for the walk with only a bottle of water…..no money, shelter, cold-weather gear, or food.
