A Madera County man has been arrested in Santa Cruz on suspicion of lewd acts with a middle school student. 28-year-old Forrest Reyes allegedly engaged in a consensual sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl for six months. Officials say the relationship started when the student was 13-years-old and that Reyes knew she was in middle school. Recently, the girl and her family informed authorities about the relationship. Reyes was arrested and booked into county jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
