A Caltrans paving project on Highway 156 is expected to cause traffic delays in Castroville this week. Beginning today, maintenance crews will be grinding and paving a two-mile section of east and westbound Highway 156, from the Geil Street Pedestrian Overcrossing to north of Oak Hills Drive in Castroville, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This project is expected to reach completion on Thursday May 7. Motorists can expect delays of 10 minutes.
