Santa Cruz police are seeking a man who attempted to lure a teenage girl. The incident took place last Thursday around 3:30 p.m. The man reportedly tried to lure a 16-year-old girl and asked her for her phone number on the 700 block of California Street. He is in his early 20s, of Asian or African American ethnicity, around 130 pounds, with black medium length hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and khaki pants. The man’s vehicle has been described as a black, two-door car with tinted windows and black rims. Anyone with information is to contact Santa Cruz police.
