Watsonville could soon be cracking down on aggressive panhandlers. That after a new temporary ordinance was approved this week, that would allow police officers to cite such people. Those who violate the ordinance twice in 6 months could face a misdemeanor charge, or be eligible for jail time. The ordinance will be revisited after a 6-month trial.
