Santa Cruz County Clerk, Gail Pellerin, has been invited to observe elections in the Middle East this week. Pellerin will visit the Nagorno Karabakh Republic to observe their parliamentary elections on May 3. While touring the area and meeting with government officials, she will post updates on the Santa Cruz County Elections Department’s Facebook page. Upon her return, Pellerin will write a report outlining what she observed and learned from this unique opportunity to visit this republic in transition.
