A Salinas resident, who is a registered sex offender, has been found guilty of “annoying a child”. 63 year-old Timothy Hayes, who had previously been convicted of indecent exposure 3 separate times, was reportedly blowing kisses to a 12 year-old girl in a public park outside her school in March. Hayes has been sentenced to spend 300 days in jail., and 3 years on probation. He has also been ordered to continue to register as a sex offender, and to stay away from both the area and his victim.
