The 5 men in their 20’s, who were ejected from their jeep while off-roading in south Monterey County last weekend, have been identified. 25 year-old Andrew Kruep of Orinda died when the vehicle went several hundred feet down into a ravine. His compatriots, who were hospitalized with severe head injuries, are: San Luis Obispo residents Sean and Darren Mullen; and Myles Franklin; and Lafayette resident Spencer Blodgett. The cause of that early Saturday morning accident, on Bureau of Land Management property near Lockwood, is still being investigated.
