A Santa Cruz man has been charged in the death of a Sand City woman. 28-year-old Scott Thomas White allegedly stabbed 79-year-old Helen Morrow in her home on Orange Avenue early Monday morning. She was transported to the hospital in critical condition and has since died from her injuries. White has now been charged with murder. He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment yesterday afternoon. White will appear in court April 26th for a preliminary hearing.
