The Monterey County Regional Fire Protection District is issuing a burn ban. Effective tomorrow, all residential burning will be prohibited. The district is also asking residents to clear a 12-foot wide path to their homes to fit fire trucks and display bold numbers and letters to show their address. Additionally, homeowners are encouraged to landscape before 10 a.m. on days with no wind.
