A Be-On-The-Lookout-for has been issued for a stuffed animal monkey, that most likely was lost in the Prunedale, Aromas, or Watsonville area. Up until last week when he ‘went missing’, “Nunny Watson” was the constant companion of a little Prunedale girl who has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. In fact, the stuffed monkey has been with 3 year-old Effy Watson for every treatment. Right now, her parents have told her that her missing pal is visiting his family. Her parents have retraced their steps through the Prunedale Safeway, the ABC Pre-School in Aromas (that Effy and her little brother attend), and in Watsonville they went to the Our Lady Help of Christians Parish Church on East Lake Avenue, the West Riverside Chevron Gas Station, and the Main Street McDonald’s. Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of the less-than-2-foot-tall, under a pound, brown haired, black-eyed stuffed monkey is encouraged to contact the Watsonville Police Department, or Team Effy (on FaceBook).
