A Santa Cruz County man being held on federal drug and gun charges escaped from jail this week. 26-year-old Alex Santiago-Gonzales was arrested last year in Pescadero after he was found in possession of assault rifles, ammunition, methamphetamine and heroin. Santiago-Gonzales escaped from San Francisco’s Hall of Justice Monday night. Officials believe he may return to the Central Coast. Anyone with information is urged to contact law enforcement.
