A computer science program in the Monterey Bay area has received a $5 million grant. On Friday, the state awarded the Hartnell-CSUMB computer science degree for improving enrollment, retention, and graduation for underrepresented students in technology. The grant has been provided through the fund Awards for Innovation in Higher Education. An additional $3 million was awarded to the Math@CSUMB program.
