The Santa Cruz County Bomb Squad destroyed multiple pipe bombs in Scotts Valley yesterday (Thursday). Authorities conducting a probation compliance check at a residence on the 2-hundred block of Willis Road found 7 PVC pipe bombs, and at about 3:15 p.m. explosive experts were called in as neighbors were evacuated. A nixle alert was sent out warning residents of impending blasts as the devices were destroyed at about 5 p.m. The man was booked into county jail on multiple charges.
