A local science teacher has been awarded the 2014-2015 Teacher of the Year Award. New Brighton Middle School teacher Molly Deich received the award from the Northern California Geological Society, based on her work in Earth Science Education. She will also be the group’s nominee for the 2014-2015 Western Division Teacher Of The Year.
