A state agency has announced the release of a new app that would allow users to report wildlife and water pollution crimes. The CalTIP app has been launched with the support of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. The tool enables owners of Apple or Android phones to anonymously report incidents of poaching and pollution by texting location and suspect details. The free app is available on both iTunes and Google Play.
