Registration for this years’ Santa Cruz Polar Plunge will be opening at 10 a.m this Saturday. The event is a fundraiser for Special Olympics Northern California, and will be taking place right in front of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Participants are asked to raise at least 125 dollars. Costume Judging will begin at 11:45 a.m., The Plunge is at noon, and festivities will follow at 12:30 p.m.
