A fundraiser will be held in Santa Cruz tomorrow to benefit two local organizations. The Day Worker Center and the Community Action Board will be hosting the event, which will provide appetizers, dinner, and a film. The musical documentary, titled “Original Chicano”, will be introduced with a performance by Chicano rock musician Mark Guerrero. The fundraiser will be held at the Resource Center for Nonviolence. Tickets can be purchased online at brownpapertickets.com or in person at the Second Street Café in Watsonville, Bookshop Santa Cruz, or at the Day Worker Center.
