The Scotts Valley Theater Guild needs help demolishing and clearing out what’s left of Scotts Valley’s roller rink this weekend, to make way for a new performing arts center. This new performing arts center – which has yet to be named – will be located at 251-B Kings Village Road in the same building as the library, but on the opposite side. Those interested in volunteering for the demolition this coming Saturday the 21st are encouraged to contact the crew demolition chief Ray Gorski at (831) 461-1715 or by email at rgorski28@sbcglobal.net. The demolition crew will be working from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and volunteers are encouraged to bring tools to aid in the deconstruction.
