A lockdown was in place in North Salinas High School for a while today, while law enforcement officers investigated a suspicious package there. The lockdown began around 11:00 a-m, and was cleared this afternoon. That after the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office x-rayed a chunk of galvanized pipe that was found in a hallway in the school.
