Monterey city officials have approved a ruling that would require a local business to change its hours. In recent years, police have been called out to the Bull and Bear Whiskey Bar and Tap House on Alvarado Street numerous times. Last year, the business, formally known as the Mucky Duck, made dozens of calls for service. Nearly half of the calls resulted in arrests.  The city council approved a plan last night that would require the business to close an hour earlier. The owners and employees at the bar will also be required to complete special training.
