A traffic detour is in place in Eastside Santa Cruz following a collision. Officials say a PG&E pole on Soquel Avenue was hit by a car. Repair is expected to take several hours. In the meantime, police are urging drivers to avoid Soquel Avenue between Park Way and Trevethan Avenue.
