An inmate at Salinas Valley State Prison sustained non-life-threatening injuries, after allegedly being attacked by four other inmates yesterday morning. Officials say the incident occurred shortly before 10, when the victim was stabbed in the back multiple times with a man-made weapon. Prison staff was able to stop the attack by using chemical agents. 35-year-old Jacob Castro, 32-year-old Christian Cruz, 25-year-old Michael Gonzalez and 24-year-old Manuel Zavala have been identified as the suspects. The incident is currently under investigation.
