A Cloverdale man was arrested in Scotts Valley this morning following a domestic dispute in the Kings Village Shopping Center parking lot. Officers responded to the location at approximately 1 a.m. after a woman called 911 to report that she was hiding behind a building because her husband was chasing her. Upon arrival, she told Scotts Valley Police that her husband, 34-year-old Newell Scott Jensen, had fled. She advised that he had a shotgun and that she was scared for her safety. Officers found the vehicle in the parking lot and arrested Jensen. A shotgun, ammunition, and a rope were located inside the vehicle. Jensen was booked into county jail for brandishing a firearm and possessing a concealed firearm.
