The state legislature proposed a bill that would place restrictions on e-cigarettes yesterday. The bill is titled SB140 and was put forth by State Senator Mark Leno, with the purpose of banning the use of e-cigarettes in public places and regulating their sale to minors. If the bill passes, the devices would be regulated under California’s Smoke Free Act, and California would be the 4th state to regulate e-cigarettes like traditional cigarettes.
