A Marina man was placed on felony probation and ordered to pay over $33,000 in victim restitution. 45-year-old Ernie Morris was convicted of two counts of theft by a broker and misdemeanor identity theft, after an insurance company notified authorities that Morris was using a partners license to sell insurance policies, then diverting the funds to his accounts without actually obtaining policies for the clients.
