The Monterey County District Attorney has announced that no criminal charges will be filed against any of the police officers involved in a 2013 fatal shootout. On Friday, officials said an investigation into the shooting death of 30-year-old, Sureño gang member, Juan Luis Acuna, showed that all of the officers, that fired their weapons during the incident, used appropriate force. The shoot-out occurred as authorities were attempting to arrest Acuna on homicide charges.
