The Monterey County Health Department has confirmed test results for a possible measles case have come back negative. The patient was put into isolation yesterday after exhibiting measles symptoms, and was given the all clear this morning. Although there have been no confirmed cases of measles on the Central Coast, healthcare providers are encouraging those who were not vaccinated at an early age to be immunized. Over 70 confirmed cases of measles have been linked to an outbreak at California Disney Parks.
