UC Santa Cruz Police are warning students and faculty about an email scam. The alert has been prompted by a nationwide warning issued by the FBI. Officials say scammers have been sending fraudulent emails to employees containing a fake link redirecting them to the login page of a human resource website. Emails have also been sent to students, advertising work from home jobs and asking for bank account information. Both students and faculty can learn more about the alerts at its.ucsc.edu.
