Santa Cruz Serial Murderer Denied Parole- 1/18/15 17:00 P.M.D.

A Santa Cruz man convicted of three murders has been denied parole. 63-year-old Barry Brown was 22 when he killed three people in three different incidences during the summer of 1974. Brown began the murder spree in Santa Cruz, killing a 7-Eleven clerk during a robbery. He then robbed and killed the mother of a friend in San Mateo County, the same month brown also killed and robbed a hitchhiker near Half Moon Bay. Brown will be eligible for parole again in 5 years.
