The intended victim of a drive by shooting in Seaside was uninjured on Sunday. The incident took place at about 1 p.m. near the corner of Palm Avenue and Terrace Street, when a man in a car opened fire on a man outside his home. The intended victim escaped inside as the gunman continued to fire upon the residence. The suspect’s vehicle was spotted nearby by Sand City police and a chase ensued ending in Monterey with the arrest of Calvin Dowdle. He was booked into county jail.
