A Seaside woman has been sentenced to prison for felony child abuse and involuntary manslaughter. In February of 2013, 41-year-old Jennifer Warren, who suffers from schizophrenia went to police with complaints about neighbors, and ended up confessing to giving birth in the bath tub, watching the newborn drown, then hiding the body in a dog food container under her house two years prior. Investigators recovered the remains, and in September, Warren pleaded guilty to the charges. On Thursday, a judge sentenced Warren to 9 years without parole.
