A Watsonville High School student foiled an attempted armed robbery last week. Police say that about 6 p.m. Last Monday, the student was approached by an armed man and a juvenile near East Front and Main Street. When the man demanded the intended victim’s cell phone at gunpoint, the student punched him, knocking the robber unconscious. The juvenile then fled.
