The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for the Monterey Bay Area. Today’s rainy weather could cause flooding of low lying and poorly drained areas, including the farm roads along the Highway 1 corridor in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. This urban and small stream advisory is in effect until 5:30 p.m. today.
