Salinas police are investigating a report of an alleged shooting. Officials say the 19-year-old victim came to the police department yesterday (SUN) around 11:30 p.m. He reported he has been shot at in the area of N. Sanborn Road and Freedom Pkwy. A red sedan (possibly a Lincoln LS) occupied by a man and a woman allegedly pulled up next to him. According to the victim, the male passenger fired one shot at him before they fled the scene. No one was injured. Anyone with information is urged to contact Salinas Police.
