Monterey County public works crews will be busy today, addressing the aftermath of yesterday’s storm. Officials say the Carmel River Lagoon is rising and that mudslides are possible in Big Sur. Sycamore Canyon Road was already affected by mudslides and flooding yesterday. Flash floods are still a possibility in the Monterey Peninsula.  Only a quarter inch of rain is expected today, with possible thunderstorms before 4 p.m.
