The Montebello man who abducted his four children this week has been arrested. 43-year-old Daniel Perez, 39-year-old Erica Perez, and their four boys had not been seen together since Friday. An amber alert was issued yesterday after a woman’s body was found in one of the family’s cars. Police spotted Daniel Perez’s black Toyota Camry around 8:30 this morning. Following a short pursuit the vehicle stopped. An hour-long standoff ended with the arrest of Perez and the rescue of the four boys. The identity of the woman found last night has not yet been confirmed.
