Napa Receives First Wave of Funding Following Quake- 11/24/14 9:30 S.G.

The city of Napa has received its first wave of state and federal funding following a destructive earthquake in August. The 6.0-magnitude quake killed one woman, injured hundreds, and caused around $400 million in property damage in the area. Yesterday, the city received $12 million in recovery aid to help fund repairs. The estimated total of the aid package has not yet been confirmed. The earthquake was the largest temblor to hit Northern California in a quarter century.
