The Monterey County Sheriff’s Dive Team was called to Laguna Grande Park late Friday night. Monterey police called for the divers after receiving reports of seeing vehicle headlights enter and sink in the park’s lake. Sheriff’s divers located the vehicle, a 2007 suburban reported stolen from Seaside, and continued searching for its occupants throughout the night.
