A victim of a Santa Cruz shooting has been taken into custody today for contempt of court. Officials say the 16-year-old has refused to testify against his alleged attackers in a preliminary court hearing yesterday. The teenager was shot several times by the three suspects on Murray Street in August of last year. Attorneys say the victim was mostly unresponsive to questioning and concluded he was withholding information. The teen will be questioned again no later than Thursday morning.
